    6th Annual Hike-A-Thon
Eagle Eye's major fundraising event returns for the 6th year in a row. People like you hike with friends and family to spread the word and raise money for Eagle Eye's mission. The Family Festival for non-hikers is also back! Eagle Eye supporters sign up for workshops where they learn how to hike safely, make the woods a home and learn about Tully Lake's water habitat. Friends of Eagle Eye can also participate in this year's Hike-A-Thon Stewardship project. This year's project will involve restoring and improving trails worn out by heavy traffic.

  • 2008 Internships
    Eagle Eye Land Trust
Eagle Eye acquired two wonderful summer interns to work at the Eagle Eye Land Trust! They will be assisting with catering to the land by spreading mulch on trails to lower the impact foot traffic has on it, planting bushes and other vegetation, as well as clearing new trails. Thanks for all your hard work!
  • 2008 Summer Programs
Eagle Eye Institute continues its partnership with the YMCA of Greater Boston by providing youth from the Dorchester, Huntington, Hyde Park and Roxbury teen centers environmental learning and stewardship programming. Youth from the teen centers will participate in Eagle Eye’s signature Learn About Forests™ program on the Eagle Eye Land Trust in Peru, MA followed by Stewardship Day at The Trustees of Reservations’ Stevens-Coolidge Place. Through these programs youth spend time in a rural forest with natural resource professionals learning about nature and potential careers in the green industry and then complete a stewardship project with their group to instill a sense of environmental responsibility.
